SPRING FLING

The Spring Fling took place at the Elmore County Fairgrounds in Glenns Ferry. The theme of the event was "EXPLORING IDAHO". Glenns Ferry is the home of Crossings Winery and Three Island Crossing State Park. There was plenty of RV parking at the fairgrounds with both water and electricity.
Thursday, many of us had dinner and were entertained at the historic Glenns Ferry Opera Theater.
Friday evenings entertainment was provided by Les & Nancy.
A whole lotta shakin' goin' on.
Freda showed us that age 96 is not too old to cut a rug. She and Virgil also won the Pinochle championship.
The Elmore County Search and Rescue team demonstrated their rescue techniques and showed off some of their vehicles.
Union Pacific's historic
Living Legend steam engine No. 844 stopped in Glenns Ferry on its way to Boise for the 92nd anniversary of the Boise Depot.
The Caldwell Ramblers and the Kaveman Travelers were recognized with Dogs for the Deaf "Miracle Maker" award for their support of the organization.
